Services

Austin Firefighters Fund helps firefighters and other public safety employees along with their families who have suffered a major injury or sickness, Over the past two years we have contributed over $40,000 to the Central Texas area public safety officers.

    Our other service is to our community. As first responders we are onscene of major fires, floods, and other natural disasters where individuals and families need assistance getting back on there feet. The Austin Firefighters Fund provides a small amount of money to these people which allows them to get back on there way to recovering from their loss.

  • Senior's 5th Annual Holiday Lunchen

    Board member FF Tim LaFuente has done it again!

    For the past 5 years Tim has organized a Senior's Holiday Lunchen. Last year he served up over five hundred meals with the help of his friends at the Guerro Senior Citizen Center. This year due to the overwhelming demand he moved to Givens Recreation Center so he could provide even more meals.  Way to go Tim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Under the direction of Retired Capt. Jim (Junk Yard) Boynton and Specialist Jake Sullivan the Austin Firefighters Fund helped firefighters in St.Barnard Parish Louisanna rebuild their homes. This is just a few of many pictures showing the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina.

Austin Firefighters Fund made a donation to the Deer family who lost their home just before Christmas. 12/22/2007
